I've been told that I've always been a Coach
About Carole
Several years ago I made a huge change in my life. After 25 years in the Non-Profit sector I left my job as Chief Executive to work in my own Coaching and Facilitating business. It was scary at the time but now, I could not be happier in my work.
Back then it was a different story. I felt stuck in a role that I had previously enjoyed. I knew that something needed to change but from my perspective, no options seemed to be available to me, and I lacked confidence that I could carry through a Career Transition.
A friend of mine recommended Coaching. Even though I wasn’t sure what Coaching was I gave it a shot! I am so pleased that I did. I gained clarity about what I want from life and my career and confidence to trust that I could make the changes I needed to.
The impact that coaching had on me was so powerful that I knew I wanted to do that work with others. I decided to train as a Coach with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).
CTI is the World Leader in Coach Training - the oldest and largest in-person coach training school in the world. The training to be a Co-active Coach is rigorous – it not only taught me the skills of coaching but also challenged and developed me as a person.
I have subsequently trained to coach pairs and teams through CRR Global's "Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching" (ORSC) programme.
I'm now an accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation and have over 3,000 hours of paid coaching experience.
I've been told that I've always been a Coach in my Leadership style and I guess its true those qualities have always been there inside me . Now, I also have high quality formal training and several years of experience to support those intrinsic qualities and substantial leadership experience.
